Ringworm

About 2 weeks ago I asked the school nurse to look at my daughters right shoulder. There was a pink spot on it that made me a little suspicious. She told my husband and I that it was just dry skin and to put lotion on the area. All of a sudden last Monday night I noticed that she was starting to break out in a rash on her stomach, back, and it was moving towards her arms and legs. I took Alli to see Dr. Shaik on Friday to find out that she did indeed have ringworm and the rash was an allergic reaction to that ringworm. She is now on three different medications which has made her irritable to very drowsy. I hope this is the first and last time we have to deal with this.
