Braces

Cole has had his orthodontic appliance for just over a year now and taking care of them is not a top priority for this 13 year old boy. He is now suppose to wear head gear to help move his teeth along with rubber bands. Fighting with him to wear these has been a daily and nightly battle. When I finally do get him to wear his head gear he some how takes it off during the night. He supposedly doesn't know he is doing it. I just keep telling him that if does as he is told by the orthodontist he will not have to wear his braces as long. But what do we know?
